Dr. Kline has held many positions throughout his career, including Assistant Professor of Surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine (1991 – 2004), Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program at Wayne State University (2000-2003), Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona (2005-2006), and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at Midwestern University (2012-2018).
Dr. Kline is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is also a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, the Society for Vascular Surgery, and the American Chemical Society.
Dr. Kline received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1983. He completed his internship, residency in general surgery, and fellowship in vascular surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Kline is board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries, veins and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction.
