Dr. Maclin is a board certified osteopathic family physician. She is the Owner of Maclin Family Medicine, a streamlined, comprehensive medical practice that offers telemedicine, home, and office visits.

The convenience of telemedicine provides another facet to provide care for a wider range of patients who may be logistically at a disadvantage for a face-to-face visit. Dr. Maclin provides comprehensive healthcare and helps to facilitate healthy lifestyle choices as she would with herself and her loved ones.

A fervent advocate for patient education and community outreach, Dr. Maclin emphasizes the importance of early detection of cancer, chronic diseases, and other preventive care measures. Over recent years, her practice has increasingly focused on anti-aging and hormone replacement therapy, integrative medicine, and weight management, reflecting her commitment to holistic healthcare.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Maclin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology. She returned to Fort Worth to start her family and teach in both the public and private school systems. She resigned from teaching in 1995 to attend the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Fort Worth (UNTHSC) where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree.

In 1999, Dr. Maclin was accepted into the then UT Southwestern Affiliate, JPS Family Medicine residency program, the largest family practice program in the country at that time. She continued to practice at JPS as an attending physician and later as Medical Director. In 2008, she resigned from JPS to pursue a solo practice which included house calls and wellness programs. This was one of the highlights of her practice thus far.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Maclin is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
