The doctor is board-certified in both anatomical and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology, which is one of the 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
With a professional interest in breast pathology, he is a member of several professional affiliations, including the College of American Pathologists, the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the Texas Society of Pathology, and the International Society of Breast Pathologists. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Clinical Scientists.
