After graduating from Ross University School of Medicine in 2005, Dr. Ibrahimi pursued his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at Albany Medical Center from 2006 to 2008. Continuing his education, he completed a second residency in psychiatry at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center from 2010 to 2011, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center from 2011 to 2013. 

During his residency and fellowship training, Dr. Ibrahimi engaged in moonlighting positions to broaden his experience. He worked as a Mental Health Physician for the ER and in-patient unit at Orange Regional Medical Center (12/2012 to 8/2013) and at Mt. Vernon Hospital (11/2011 to 8/2013). Simultaneously, during this time, he worked at Westchester Medical Center, covering the Psychiatric Emergency Referral Center.

Since 2017, Dr. Ibrahimi has been involved with Evolve Physicians Group (Suboxone Clinic) in Albany, New York. His prior roles include Chief Medical Director at Blackhawk TMS Interventions and Clinical Specialties (01/2020-01/2021), and at Brains Wellness (10/2019-01/2020), where he provided TMS and Ketamine services. He also worked at Vitality Physicians Group Practice (09/2011-02/2017), specializing in Suboxone Clinic services; Community Psychiatry, Inc. (10/2014-10/2016), providing outpatient services for adults, children, and adolescents; Karima Behavioral Health Center, PLLC (8/2013-09/2014); and Providence Mental Health Clinic (8/2013-09/2014), offering private practice services for adults, children, and adolescents. To boot, he worked in the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit at Oro Valley Hospital in Tucson, Arizona (8/2013-09/2014).

Board certified in neurology, Dr. Ibrahimi is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
