A seasoned reproductive endocrinologist & infertility specialist, Dr. Najmabadi diagnoses and treats patients at the Center for Reproductive Health and Gynecology. He established his private practice in 1997.
With offices in Sherman Oaks and Beverly Hills, California, as well as Punta Mita, Mexico, the Center specializes in comprehensive fertility treatments including egg freezing, in vitro fertilization, low-tech reproductive treatments, fertility assessments, and preimplantation genetic diagnostics.
With specialized expertise, Dr. Najmabadi enjoys a very high success rate with infertility patients requiring Assisted Reproductive Techniques, especially IVF and egg donation. Some of the infertility treatments he offers range from hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, tubal surgery and repair, tubal reversal after a tubal ligation, and treatments for endometriosis, to IVF, ICSI, PGD, surrogacy, and egg donation.

With a professional journey spanning over three decades, Dr. Najmabadi has clinical interests in egg freezing and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). He is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Prior to his current endeavors, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of OB/GYN at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.
In regards to his educational background, Dr. Najmabadi graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1987. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 1991.
Furthering his training, he performed his internship, residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at LAC+USC Medical Center.
Subsequent to his education, Dr. Najmabadi attained board certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility & obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
Active in research, Dr. Najmabadi has conducted and has been involved with several studies, including research for FDA approval of fertility drugs, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), and regularly participates in clinical IVF trials.
Remaining up to date in his field, he is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons.
Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to the reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females and males after the reproductive years.
Throughout the years, Dr. Najmabadi has published and presented at scientific conventions and speaks regularly to professional medical gatherings and patient groups. He is the recipient of the Ortho Pharmaceutical Uwe Goebelsmann, M.D., memorial research award and scholarship.
