Dr. Vieder is a board certified emergency physician. He is the Chairman & Medical Director of the Emergency Trauma Center at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills.

Dedicated to perpetuating and continually redefining his role as emergency health care providers, Dr. Vieder is also on the teaching faculty of the Emergency Medicine Residency at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills, where he serves as Department Chair.
His acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Natural Science at Michigan State University in 1984. He then graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988, and went on to perform his residency in emergency medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills from 1989 until 1992.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in emergency medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). The AOBEM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of acutely ill patients with advanced cardiac life support, trauma, and the management of other life-threatening medical issues (emergency physicians).
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, Dr. Vieder is a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
Attributing her success to good training and resilience, Dr. Vieder has been the recipient of the HOUR Magazine Detroit Excellence in Care Award for his work at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills.
