Dr. Killian is a nurse serving Atlanta and the surrounding communities. She currently practices with Georgia State University School of Nursing, located in the midst of downtown Atlanta, the school is surrounded by unique professional, academic, and interdisciplinary opportunities. The students and faculty of the school are committed to meeting the health care needs of multi-cultural, urban populations; this commitment is evident in the activities of the Health and Wellness Collaborative and Project Healthy Grandparents, as well as various unique clinical partnerships. 

Additionally, Dr. Killian is affiliated with the Grady Health System. In regards to her education, she first earned her Nursing Degree from Decatur University. She then attended Georgia State University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Dr. Killian then her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Georgia Regents University Medical College of Georgia in 2010, additionally, she has received certification in gerontology. 

She is certified as an Advanced Nurse Executive by the American Nurses Association’s American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The ANCC credentials both organizations and individuals who advance nursing. Whether a nurse wants to boost their career prospects or achieve international recognition for their health care organization, the center is the recognized authority in nursing credentialing. 

With over 12 years of experience in the field, Dr. Killian has assisted in the treatment of thousands of patients. She currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Georgia State University.
