Dr. Neitzel is a determined podiatrist with a passion for providing the best possible care to her patients. She has extensive experience in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery, sports medicine/athletic injuries, and limb salvage. She also has specialized training in treating pediatric foot conditions and has worked with an underserved group of children in Mexico with genetic foot deformities.

Originally from Northern California, Dr. Neitzel was involved in 4-H and FFA for almost a decade. After studying zoology and primatology at Washington State University, she decided to pursue medicine as a career. She obtained a scholarship to attend the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University, where she served as Academic Vice President and President of her medical class.
With an unwavering commitment to her specialty, the doctor is double board-certified by both the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Association of Women in Podiatry, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
In 2020, she expanded her services to include Pure Peninsula Spa, a medical pedicure and manicure spa that provides sterile and medically safe nail services. She recognized that traditional cleaning techniques and nail treatments were not always safe and saw an opportunity to utilize these services to treat common foot conditions such as toenail fungus, poor circulation, neuropathy pain, and chronically cracked heels/calluses.
At Pure Peninsula Spa, the tools and techniques follow sterile procedure guidelines, and the products are trialed and specifically chosen for their unique therapeutic qualities and all-natural ingredients. The certified and licensed nail technicians are trained to evaluate each client’s feet or hands and recommend products and services that would be most beneficial and soothing.
