Recognized as a top family physician, Dr. Kemp specializes in comprehensive health care for patients of all ages. She is licensed to practice medicine in the following states:  New York, Maryland, Texas, Vermont, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, Maine, Connecticut, Georgia, and Arizona. 

Since 2007, she has been serving on staff at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York. Most recently, in 2019, she joined the faculty of the Family Medicine Residency Program at the established institution.

In addition to her affiliation with Northern Dutchess Hospital, Dr. Kemp has been serving as a nocturnist through Doctor on Demand, Telemedicine since 2018. Prior to her current endeavors, she served as a family physician at Summit Medical Healthcare in Rhinebeck (December 2007-July 2009), Saint Luke’s Hospital System in Newburgh (December 2005-December 2007), Saint Luke’s Hospital System in Cornwall (December 2005-December 2007), and Access Medical in New Windsor (June 2005-December 2007).

Among her professional appointments, she served as a team member of the Nuvance Leadership Development Program (2019-2020), Vice-Chair of the Operations Committee (2016-2019), and Preceptor of the PA Program at Marist College (2016-2017). At present, she serves as the Lead Physician of the CPC+ PCMH Committee.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Kemp earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri in 2002. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey in 2003 and 2005, respectively. 

From 2004 until 2005, she served as a lecturer for third-year medical student enrichment sessions at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also served as a research assistant alongside David Mason, DO, at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Department of Osteosciences (2004-2005), and Norbert Seidler, PhD, at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Biochemistry (1998-2002).

A member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the doctor is board-certified in both family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice, an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

With an interest in engaging in community projects, Dr. Kemp was involved with the Access Medical Community Health Fair, Saint John’s Fifty Plus Club, Camden County Free Health Clinic, Women’s Clinic in Voorhees, Men’s Health Fair in Woodbury, Camden River Sharks Minor League Baseball Team, Lipid Clinic/Sunset Road Medical Associates, and Score One for Health.
