Wanting to further her education she graduated with her Medical Degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School Of Brown University in 1991, giving her over two decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her Medical Degree she completed her internship with SUNY Upstate Medical University, followed by a general surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery residency with the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Dykes is dual certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. To stay up to date in her field she remains a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She currently practices with her private practice Minnesota Colon & Rectal Surgical Specialists.
