She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University in September 2017, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from the same institution in March 2022.
Beginning her career as a surgical technician, Shauna’s dedication to the healthcare profession propelled her to become a registered nurse in Atlanta. Throughout her journey, she has gained extensive experience across various roles, including a Perioperative Nurse Manager at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a Unit-Based Educator at Piedmont Henry Hospital. Her time at Wellstar Health System further solidified her expertise, where she served as a Nursing Professional Development Generalist and Specialist.
Shauna’s diverse experience spans registered nursing, gastroenterology, endoscopy, perioperative services, and nursing management. She is deeply passionate about enhancing the quality of healthcare and believes in the importance of holistic patient care. Shauna emphasizes the importance of listening to and understanding each individual’s health concerns to deliver exceptional service, embodying her commitment to patient-centered care.
