Sherron S. Cook, a Certified Physician Assistant, holds the role of Adjunct Faculty member in the Physician Assistant Program at Northern Arizona University (NAU). With a background in family medicine, urgent care, and sleep medicine, she brings a wealth of experience to her teaching and mentorship responsibilities.
In addition to her teaching role, Sherron sits on the advisory board for the National Center for American Indian Health Care Providers. This esteemed group focuses on the recruitment and retention of American Indian healthcare providers, aligning with Sherron’s passion for improving health outcomes within underserved communities.
A graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Sherron’s commitment to healthcare led her to work as a clinical research coordinator with the National Institutes of Health. Still University in 2008 and 2019, respectively.

From Community Health Centers to Indian Health Service Centers, she has honed her skills in establishing meaningful patient relationships and helping individuals achieve their health goals.
As an active member of professional organizations such as the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Associates, Sherron stays current with industry trends and advancements.
