Dr. Marvel received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Texas A&M University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, now known as Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
Understanding the importance of continuing education, Dr. Marvel is on track to soon complete her credentialing as a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). To earn a Fellowship award, a dentist must complete at least 500 continuing dental education hours, pass a rigorous and comprehensive exam, and maintain AGD membership for three continuous years.
Dr. Marvel takes multiple classes in all disciplines of dentistry each year and has completed numerous hours of training in aesthetic dentistry, implant restoration, endodontics (root canals), invisalign, prosthodontics (dentures), and many others.
Dr. Marvel is a 2019 Invisalign provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.
