Shireeta is a registered nurse with a background in emergency medicine, home health care, psychiatric care, medical-surgical nursing, telemetry, geriatrics, and pediatric care. She is the Nurse Administrator and Co-Owner of We C.A.R.E. Home Health Agency in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

Passionate about nursing, she strives to provide high quality care for people who are in need. Her focus is to care for children and adults based on their current health state and to focus on bettering the health of those around her.

We C.A.R.E. Home Health Agency is based in Lower Bucks County, owned by its principal investors and principal operators. Its mission is to provide professional and paraprofessional services to clients in their homes, assisting them to achieve the highest level of potential in their day-to- day self-care activities. High quality, multidisciplinary care is provided by professionals who recognize the need for comprehensive assessment of needs from both the client and professional’s point of view.

Shireeta chose a career in nursing as she was inspired by her brother who has autism and also a rare skin disease. Due to the fact that there was so little her parents could do back in the day to help him, she wanted to make a difference.

Feeling that she was led to be a nurse, she graduated with her nursing degree from Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital in 2009. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Millersville University in 2015, and currently attends Walden University for her Master of Science degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner program).

Continuously advancing her efforts, Shireeta is an active member of the American Nurses Association, the Black Nurses Association, and the National Association of Professional Women. She attributes her success to her compassion, remaining kind to her patients and always putting them first.

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. RNs fulfill a variety of job duties. In addition to their primary role in treating and caring for patients, their responsibilities also include educating patients and the public about a variety of medical conditions, as well as providing emotional support, coordinating care  and advice to the families of their patients. Other RN job functions include leadership, research, performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results, operating medical equipment, administering medications, recording patients’ symptoms and medical histories, and assisting with patient rehabilitation and follow-up.

Due to her outstanding work in her field, Shireeta was awarded the Nurse Excellence Award from Abington Hospital in 2014, the Abington Patient Safety Award in 2017, and the Leadership of the Year Award from 2017 to 2018 from the National Association of Professional Women.

On a more personal note, she focuses her free time helping others help themselves by mentoring aspiring nursing students and healthcare business owners. She has an abundance of information that she is hoping will help others prosper in their careers. She also enjoys shopping and reading, and is charitable towards the Purple Heart as her passion to offer aid to veterans is strong.
