After medical school, she completed her internship with the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Pursuing advanced medical training, Dr. Shaffer undertook her residency with Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. She is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Shaffer is committed to keeping current with the new developments and guidelines in her field, and she is passionate about enhancing her patient’s quality of life. She is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of quality and compassionate care, and attributes her success to her love for practicing medicine and taking care of people in an urgent time of need.
