After earning her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1987 at the University of Northern Colorado, Sharon completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2006 at Denver School of Nursing, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado in 2012. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the International Society for Stem Cell Research, and the Colorado Nurses Association.
