Stephanie is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in functional medicine, holistic care, and natural care, currently serving patients at Northland Prairie Care in Montevideo, Minnesota. Academically, Stephanie has had a passion for holistic care since her journey as a nurse began in 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Chamberlain University College of Nursing in 2010, and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Clarkson College in 2018.
On a professional level, she has many years of experience in general and orthopedic surgery first assisting, surgical department management, advanced tissue closure techniques, wound care, as well as further training in functional medicine through both the Institute of Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University.
As a testament of her continued education, Stephanie attained board certification as a family nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) holds board certification and provides continuing and comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and body systems. FNPs maintain patient records, perform physical exams, order or perform diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, as well as treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under primary care.
