Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Stephen Warman, who serves patients throughout the State of New York.

An established otolaryngologist, Dr. Warman is a member of Summit Health’s Ear, Nose, and Throat team, working with patients at their offices in Forest Hills and Levittown, New York. He specializes in treating patients with sinus issues such as chronic sinusitis, nasal obstructions, allergies with chronic rhinitis, and cosmetic procedures. Among his clinical interests and skills are in-office sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, cryotherapy for chronic post nasal drip, and cosmetic surgery including Botox, injectables, rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty.

Prioritizing quality time with every patient, he listens carefully to their concerns and works to ensure understanding of and comfort with treatment plans. “Patient care is my number one priority,” he says.

Graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Washington University at St. Louis, Dr. Warman received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in otolaryngology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in otolaryngology through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, which is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

Remaining up to date in his field, he is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Among his other roles, Dr. Warman maintains hospital privileges at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, and New York Presbyterian – Queens.

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Pediatric otolaryngologists are primarily concerned with medical and surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases in children. They generally provide the following services: diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders, as well as head and neck diseases.

Among his most notable achievements, Dr. Warman has been the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2011, 2009, 2008).

Outside the office, he enjoys playing tennis, scuba diving, and biking. He’s supportive of animal welfare causes, as well as those working to combat cancer and eating and body dysmorphic disorders.
