Dr. Isaacson is a prosthodontist specializing in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry. He treats various dental issues ranging from small fillings and implants, to porcelain laminates and complex full mouth rehabilitation.
Currently, he practices at Prosthodontics of Princeton, a dental practice that he took over from his father, Geoge Isaacson. The practice remains dedicated to providing top-quality comprehensive dental care to patients in Princeton, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Dr. Isaacson works there alongside Dr. Suzanne B. Reinhardt and Dr. Alexander S. Drew, both of whom are experts in correcting a wide variety of dental problems with today’s advanced dental and prosthodontic techniques.
Additionally, he is on the New Jersey State Peer Review Board and serves an attending at the Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
After graduating from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology, Dr. Isaacson went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. During his dental school education, he was selected on merit to participate in an accelerated clinical training program. After dental school, he did a one-year general practice residency at the University of Pennsylvania, which further trained him in all aspects of general dentistry.
Once he decided that prosthodontics was a field he enjoyed and could excel in, he went on to obtain a specialty degree in prosthodontics with an emphasis on reconstructive dentistry, including implant and cosmetic dentistry, at the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
After graduation, he joined his father’s practice and worked alongside him until his father retired in 2005. To this day, Dr. Isaacson has continued the traditions of integrity, detail, and thoughtfulness that his father instilled in him. “I like dealing with people. I love all the different personalities. We really help to make people over and it’s about trust. I try to explain about the procedure and help the patient become knowledgeable about what is happening. I feel a real closeness with them, and we can truly make a difference in their lives. It’s amazing when someone looks in a mirror and is so happy after the work. I am especially proud of being able to continue my father’s practice. We were a family of dentists.” stated the dentist.
He remains a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Mercer Dental Association. He also attends monthly continuing education seminars with the Princeton Group for Dental Excellence, a chapter of the Seattle Study Club.
In the past, Dr. Isaacson served as a moderator at the annual New Jersey State Dental meetings in Atlantic City. He was also a consultant for the Dental Division of Johnson & Johnson, the Dental Division of Church & Dwight, and the publication, the Dental Advisor, which provides the dental profession with evidence-based and clinically relevant information on dental restorative products.
