Susan is a Board-certified family nurse practitioner & registered nurse first assistant with over two decades of experience. She is the owner & Primary Care Provider at Sunset Clinic Family Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona.

A long-time resident of Scottsdale, Susan obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Mercy College of Health Sciences. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand View University, her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Graceland University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University.
Serving on the Board of Directors of the Arizona State Physicians Association, she is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society.
Second only to her love of taking great care of families, Susan also enjoys teaching others during their journey into the healthcare profession. She taught 30 courses to 1000+ students at Mercy College of Health Sciences and frequently serves as preceptor for students at Arizona State University, Georgetown University, and Grand Canyon University.
