Syed Mustafa Karim, MD, MBBS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained hematologist-medical oncologist who is a part of the esteemed team at Midwest Oncology Associates with HCA Midwest Health. A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Karim is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Additionally, he is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American College of Physicians.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Karim has a robust research background and has published numerous professional papers. He previously served as an assistant professor of hematology/oncology at Hofstra University School of Medicine and directed the Breast Cancer Program at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Karim has also organized and presented at multiple international cancer meetings, including the National Comprehensive Cancer Network – Middle East and North Africa (NCCN-MENA) conference.
