A graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados, Dr. Huang relocated to the United States to further his education. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at West Suburban Medical Center Program in Oak Park, Illinois, followed by his fellowship in infectious disease at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Following his training, he became board-certified in internal medicine and infectious disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

The role of an infectious disease specialist is to review a patient’s medical data, including records, X-rays, and laboratory reports.
