He then pursued a Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree in Family Medicine at the said institution, followed by a Doctor of Science Degree in Clinical Emergency Medicine from Baylor University.

PAs are medical professionals, educated in the medical model to complement physician training, and assist the physician in many aspects of the practice.
