Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the doctor is board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

To boot, she is board-certified in pediatrics and hospice & palliative medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases in infants, children, and adolescents.

Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Vern-Gross is an active member of the NCCN Wilms’ Tumor Guidelines Panel, the Opioid Response Team, the Radiation Oncology Residency Education Committee, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, the Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology, the Children’s Oncology Group, the Society for Palliative Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiology, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Osteopathic Association.
