Furthering his training, he performed his residency in internal medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center from 2004-2007, followed by his fellowship in rheumatology at the National Capital Consortium from 2009-2011.
Board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). After serving for eight years at the San Antonio Military Medical Center, Dr. Hoffmann retired from the Army. During his tenure, he held a position on the faculty of the rheumatology fellowship program, where he contributed to the training of rheumatologists and internists.
