A committed emergency physician, Dr. Coakley is the CEO of Tactical Emergency Consultants International, Inc., providing consulting services for several companies, both foreign & domestic, developing innovative technologies in emergency medicine. Finally, he completed his residency in emergency medicine at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in 2002.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (FAAEM) and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
