Practicing medicine in Ohio, she is affiliated with Mercy Health-Lorain Hospital, Southwest General Health Center, Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center, Mercy Regional Medical Center, Southwest General Health Center, and UH Seidman Cancer Center.

Pertaining to her medical education, Dr. Biswas graduated with her medical degree from Kolkata Medical College and Hospital in India in 1992. She then relocated to the United States, performing her fellowship in radiation oncology at Strong Memorial Hospital in 2002 and her internship in general surgery at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in 2003. This was followed by a residency and fellowship in radiation oncology at Strong Memorial Hospital in 2004 and 2008, respectively. 

A member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The mission of the ABR is to serve patients, the public, and the medical profession by certifying that its diplomates have acquired, demonstrated, and maintained a requisite standard of knowledge, skill, and understanding essential to the safe and competent practice of diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Excelling her efforts, Dr. Biswas’ research interests include breast, esophageal and colorectal cancer & gastrointestinal cancers, general and thoracic.
