Alan Rothstein, DDS, is a well-established periodontist who sees patients at his own private practice, AR Periodontics, located Denville, New Jersey. Featuring 21 years of experience in the dental arena, he entered private practice dedicated exclusively to periodontics in 1995. Dr. Rothstein has been practicing at his current location in Denville, New Jersey since 2005. In addition, he a Consultant and Clinical Expert offering review of potential malpractice claims for both plaintiffs and defendants.
He supervises and teaches 3rd and 4th year dental students in a clinical setting in the department of Periodontics. Dr. Rothstein is a staff periodontist/attending at Morristown Memorial Hospital, a member of the Atlantic Health System, in Morristown, New Jersey, as well. He is the recipient of a two-year research grant from Delta Dental Foundation on the topic of children with aggressive dental disease. He believes that he owes his successful career to being a unique dentist and treating others as he would like to be treated.
Dr. Rothstein graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1990 and completed a postgraduate program in periodontics there as well.
With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in periodontics, focusing primarily on dental implants and cosmetic periodontal surgery to help restore smiles. Dr. Rothstein was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) at its 87th annual convocation in Denver on October 21st, 2016. Dr Rothstein has also been recognized as one of New Jersey’s top dentists for the past 11 years.
