She chose to pursue a career in maternal-fetal medicine when she was 16 years old and working for a perinatologist. “My patients are women who are pregnant or women who wish to become pregnant and have a history of medical or obstetric complications. Some of the procedures that I perform include chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, cesarean deliveries, and vaginal deliveries. My team of excellent and experienced physicians use incredible technology to help guide women through their pregnancies. Throughout her academic career, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Winthrop University Hospital in 2012. Later, she completed her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at SUNY at Stony Brook in 2015.
Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics & gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Adams is an active member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. She also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Long Island School of Medicine.
