A physician assistant is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with or under the supervision of a physician, depending on state laws. Physicians do not need to be on-site with PAs and collaboration or supervision often occurs via electronic means when consults are necessary.

The source of PA Kaufman’s success can be traced back to the inspirational actions of a Physician Assistant (PA) and three combat medics who saved the lives of  two severely injured soldiers following an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in Iraq in 2005. Witnessing their heroic efforts ignited a fervent determination within him to become a PA capable of making a profound impact and saving lives.

Knowing that PA Kaufman’s work is making a tangible difference in people’s lives brings him immense fulfillment. This journey has also instilled in him a deep appreciation for wellness, fueling his dedication to helping his patients achieve their optimal health and well-being. This commitment to well-being harmoniously aligns with his passion for the medical field, creating a holistic approach to his role as a physician assistant.

Beyond his medical accomplishments, PA  Kaufman has a passion for physical fitness. He completed the Ironman World Championships in 2015 and earned the title of USA Triathlon All American.
