Her career began at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where her experiences as a genetic counselor ignited her passion for medicine. This led her to the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, where she earned her Medical Degree. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics and medical genetics at Cedars Sinai and UCLA Intercampus Program, and then went on to achieve board certification from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics in 2007.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Watiker holds esteemed positions at many medical centers, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and UC Irvine. Her dedication to her field is reflected in her active memberships with the American Medical Association and her status as a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
