With over three decades of experience in the healthcare sector, Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care during their recovery at this state-of-the-art complex care and rehabilitation hospital in Fullerton, California.
In her position, Victoria oversees all nursing staff and is responsible for directing strategic initiatives in collaboration with referring hospitals. Her primary focus is to enhance patient recovery outcomes while ensuring compliance and risk management for the entire community. Under her leadership, The Pavilion at Sunny Hill aims to create a positive patient experience through compassionate care and professional excellence.
Victoria’s impressive academic background includes an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Philippines, obtained in 1983, followed by an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Cypress College in 1994. Her extensive career began at Buena Park Nursing Center as an RN-DON, where she played a pivotal role in launching a subacute unit. This experience set the foundation for her subsequent role as a Quality Services Nurse Consultant at North American Health Care, Inc.
From 2005 until August 2023, Victoria dedicated herself to South Coast Post Acute, where her leadership was instrumental in achieving multiple accolades, including recognition as one of Newsweek’s Best Nursing Homes in California for four consecutive years. Additionally, her efforts contributed to the facility earning 5-Star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) consistently over the years.
Victoria is not only an accomplished nursing professional but also an active member of the American Association of Directors of Nursing Services and the California Association of Health Facilities. She is known for her innovative approach to healthcare, having developed critical programs during the pandemic that included Remdesivir infusion for COVID-19 patients and other essential services.
