He earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, before completing his residency in neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedics and minimally invasive spine surgery at the same educational venue, followed by a fellowship in complex spine surgery and spinal deformity at the Virginia Mason Medical Center.
With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in neurosurgery and spine surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). Aside from his professional achievements, Dr. Yanamadala is a dedicated humanitarian who has participated in international spinal surgical missions, traveling to countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and Mongolia to offer free care to patients with spinal disorders.
In his free time, he enjoys gardening and hiking on the many trails in Fairfield County, Connecticut, where he lives with his wife and son.
