As a distinguished academic and clinician, he has served on the Senior Faculty at Baylor College of Medicine since July 2022 and previously held the position of Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine since 2004. A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Hunt completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Wayne State University in 2000. His commitment to global health and infectious disease management is highlighted by specialized training, including a tuberculosis workshop at National Jewish Health in Denver, and the esteemed Gorgas Diploma Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine in Lima, Peru.
In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Hunt has actively participated in training programs such as the National Ebola Training & Education Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
