Dr. Khalife is a heart failure cardiologist serving Galveston and the surrounding communities. He is an Associated Professor of Medicine, Director of Heart Failure Program as well as Cardiology Fellowship Program at UTMB Health – a health network offering a full range of primary and specialty healthcare services throughout Galveston and Brazoria counties, the Bay Area and Southeast Texas. In 1999, Dr. Khalife earned his Medical Degree from the Lebanese University. After relocating to the United States, he went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at the University of South Dakota in 2005. To further his training he then completed a fellowship in heart failure and cardiac transplantation at Texas Heart Institute in 2006, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2009.
To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Khalife maintains a professional membership with the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The ACC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of cardiovascular patients through continuous quality improvement, patient-centered care, payment innovation and professionalism.
