Dr. X. Long Zheng, currently holds the prestigious position of Russell J. Eilers MD Endowed Professor and Department Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. With an illustrious academic background and a wealth of experience in research and academia, Dr. Zheng is recognized as a leading expert in his field.

Dr. Zheng’s influence extends beyond his research endeavors, as he actively participates in patient care and contributes to the academic community through his roles as a standing member of the Hemostasis, Thrombosis, and Blood Transfusion (HTBT) study section at National Institute of Health (NIH), and as an associate /section editor for esteemed journals such as Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Annals of Blood, Journal of Clinical Medicine, and Genomics, etc. His dedication to education and mentorship is evident in his guidance of numerous medical and graduate students, residents, postdoctoral fellows, junior faculty, and physician scientists.
