Throughout his years of experience, he has accrued a special expertise in complex root canal treatments, trauma treatment, and endodontic surgery using the latest technology including a surgical microscope.
Dr. Ortiz’s career in dentistry began when he graduated with honors with his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. Thereafter, he completed his General Practice residency with Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Driven to further his knowledge and skills, Dr. Ortiz undertook his Endodontic specialty training at Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry, where he would also earn his Master of Science Degree in Dentistry. He is board eligible with the American Board of Endodontics.
To stay current with the new developments and guidelines in his field, Dr. Ortiz remains a distinguished member of the American Academy of Endodontic, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Association. He has dedicated his life to delivering quality and compassionate care, and he strives to provide the best outcomes possible. With a passion for enhancing his patients’ quality of life, Dr. Ortiz enjoys being with his family in his free time.
