Before embarking on her professional journey, she graduated with her Associate’s degree in 2003 from Horry Georgetown Technical College. She began practicing as a registered nurse providing care to patients with her primary area of experience in labor and delivery. She continued her education by obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Kaplan University in 2017.
Thereafter, she went on to complete her Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner Program) from Purdue University Global in March of 2020. She didn’t stop there! She continued her education and obtained her Doctorate degree in June of 2021 from Purdue University Global with a 4.0 average for her terminal degree in nursing. She was inducted into several honors societies including Alpha Beta Phi, Alpha Alpha Alpha, and Sigma Theta Tau just to name a few.

National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), South Carolina Nurses Association (SCNA) and more.
AFamily Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is a nurse who has graduated from a masters nursing program and has met requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body to obtain a nursing license. NP’s fulfill a variety of job duties. In addition to their primary role in treating and caring for patients, their responsibilities also include educating patients and the public about a variety of medical conditions, as well as evaluating their patients, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, diagnosing and managing medical conditions, all the while providing emotional support and professional advice for their patients and their families.
Other responsibilities include strong leadership skills, continued medical research and training, performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results for optimal patient care, utilizing medical equipment, prescribing medications, evaluating and recording patients’ symptoms and medical histories, and assisting with patient referrals and follow-up as needed.
