She also has over 15 years of experience involving many different healthcare settings such as: intensive care unit, surgery (general, ophthalmic, OB/GYN, orthopedics, ENT), medical-surgical unit, ophthalmology, physician office/urgent care clinic, infection control, case management, corporate compliance, and hospital administration.

With a background in regulatory compliance, case management, and legal nursing, Kristen holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She received the Medic Leadership Award in 2006.
