Dr. Vloka graduated with her Medical Degree from the Warsaw Medical School in Poland. After obtaining her Medical Degree she relocated to the United States and then completed her internal medicine internship, internal medicine residency with Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Wanting to further her training she additionally completed a clinical cardiology and a electrophysiology fellowship with Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center.

Dr. Vloka holds multiple certifications. She is certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, internal Medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and hospice and palliative medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, she also holds certification in pacing and defibrillation from the National Association for Sport and Physical Education. To stay up to date in her field she remains a professional member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Heart Failure Society of America, and is part of the Idaho Board of Directors with the American Heart Association. She is also been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.

She currently practices as an Electrophysiologist with Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Heart Care and holds an expertise in the treatment of heart rhythm disturbances includes curative procedures as well as ablations done with the goal of managing chronic, progressive disease, implantation of devices to save lives and improve my patients’ quality of life. Dr. Vloka is tri-lingual and speaks fluent English, Polish and Russian.

Cardiac electrophysiologists focus on your heart’s timing, or electrical, system and on diagnosing and treating irregular heartbeats or arrhythmias. Electrophysiologists are qualified to perform special tests of your heart’s electrical system, such as an electrophysiology study or an ablation. In addition, this heart doctor can implant a pacemaker or a defibrillator, which is similar to a pacemaker but can shock your heart back into rhythm should you need it.
