Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Pandey attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate education, and graduated with his medical degree from the Mount Sinai Medical Center. After completing his internship at the Beth Israel Medical Center, he completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and his fellowship in interventional radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
Remaining up to date in his field, he is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, and the American College of Radiology.
