“At Wise Chiropractic we take a specific, scientific approach to overall health and well-being through emphasizing optimal posture and spinal alignment as the primary goals of chiropractic care while documenting improvements in pain and functional-based outcomes using the Chiropractic Biophysics Technique” as stated on the practice’s website.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Dr. Bodine’s family relocated to Port Orange in 1980. He graduated high school in 1990 from Spruce Creek High School. Following high school, he attended Daytona State College, then moved on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Bodine was introduced to chiropractic as a teen when he had severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. As a young athlete, he participated in surfing, competitive water skiing, and weight lifting, which severely limited his abilities. His neighbor, who was a chiropractor, saw him with a brace on and started adjusting him. As Carpal Tunnel Syndrome improved, he started educating him on the power of the body and nervous system which gave Dr. Bodine the motivation to become a chiropractor and help others.

Before coming to Wise Chiropractic, he worked for some of the most successful chiropractic clinics in the country. He also traveled the country, coaching and teaching thousands of chiropractors around the country over a ten-year span.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of biomechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. These disorders can also cause negative effects on the neurological system of the body, as well. A chiropractor uses spinal manipulation and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo, and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ physical functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.

Among his philanthropic endeavors, Dr. Bodine served on the fundraising board for March of Dimes, and for the Children’s Miracle Network.
