Post-graduation, he completed 2 years of clinical research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and earned his certification in applied biostatistics from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Furthering his training, he completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in non-invasive cardiology at Tufts Medical Center, during which he also served as chief cardiology fellow and representative of the bylaws committee at the Massachusetts Medical Society.
An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
