Dr. Albert M. Lefkovits was Chief Resident in Dermatology at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center where he also completed a Fellowship in Immunodermatology. He is Past President of the Mount Sinai Alumni and also Past President of the Dermatology Society of Greater New York. He has received Awards for Excellence in Clinical Dermatology, for Outstanding Teaching of Dermatology Residents, and The Special Recognition Award of the Mount Sinai Alumni.
Dr. Lefkovits specializes in both Cosmetic and Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Medical Dermatology, including diagnosis and treatment of a very wide variety of skin conditions, such as Skin Cancer, Rejuvenation of Aging and Sun Damaged Skin, Acne Rosacea, Acne Vulgaris, Contact Dermatitis, Hair Loss, Pigmentary Disorders, and Post Surgical Procedure Scarring. Dr. Lefkovits has been invited to lecture in many countries around the world, including Dubai, England, France, India, Israel, Italy, and Mexico on a wide range of topics, including Skin Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis, Skin Rejuvenation, Lasers, Botox, injectable fillers and a wide variety of dermatological disorders. Additionally, Dr. Lefkovits is The Dermatology Reviewer for The Medical Letter, an authoritative independent publication evaluating the effectiveness of medications and medical treatments. He has published and presented over 104 papers at medical meetings and is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who in Science and Engineering.
He is a member of the Botox Education Faculty and was the first physician in New York to use the Molemax for Skin Cancer detection. Albert M. Lefkovits, MD, is Medical Director at Park Avenue Center for Advanced Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology, and Clinical Associate Professor at the Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Attending Dermatologist at the Mt.
