Thereafter, Dr. Puchalski completed a fellowship in adult pulmonary and critical care at the University of Cincinnati and pediatric pulmonary medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, while also obtaining a Master’s Degree in Medical Education at the University of Cincinnati. There, he was recognized as the outstanding adult fellow. Subsequently, Dr. Puchalski completed a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania before starting a program in that area at Yale School of Medicine.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board certified in critical care medicine, adult pulmonary disease, pediatric pulmonary disease, and interventional pulmonology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Puchalski is an ultra-endurance athlete, having completed numerous Ironman distance or longer triathlons. He cherishes time spent with his two children, Reese and Corinne.
