He later went to pursue his medical degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, graduating in 1989. Four years later, in 1993, he completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Cincinnati.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is accomplished through a process of certification and maintenance of certification that fosters excellence and encourages continuous learning.
