Dr. Moustoukas completed his undergraduate degree from the Vanderbilt University majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Furthering his education he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. After obtaining his Medical Degree he He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine within the Texas Medical Center. Wanting to further his training he then completed his Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular fellowship with the University of Alabama – Birmingham.

Dr. Moustoukas currently practices as an Upper Extremity Surgeon with Kennedy-White Orthopaedic Center. He holds an expertise in disorders such as tendon and nerve injuries, nerve compression syndromes (carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel), fractures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, joint replacement of the shoulder and elbow, Dupuytrens contracture, ganglion cysts, trigger fingers, rotator cuff injuries, arthritis of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand as well as work-related injuries. His research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery, Journal of Orthopedic Trauma and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His research has also been presented at multiple national meetings.

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, college sports, cooking, and playing golf.
