Dr. Hardie is a caring physician who believes in the integration of mind, body, and spirit in the treatment of pain. At Fabito Anesthesia & Pain Specialists PC, she treats each patient as an individual, and carefully formulates a treatment plan in cooperation with the patient.  

A firm believer in compassionate and responsible medication management and the benefits of physical activity for pain reduction, she has had extensive training in both fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided interventional pain procedures. She also has special interest in medical ethics as well as the connection of the mind, body, and spirituality.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Hardie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno and her medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in anesthesiology and her fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  

Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. Its mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. 

Holding several specialty certifications for advanced spinal procedures, Dr. Hardie is MILD, Vertiflex, and Suboxone certified.

Anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during, and after surgery. It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine. Anesthesiologists have the primary responsibility of monitoring the patient’s vital signs during surgery. In addition to basic measurements such as pulse, blood pressure, and temperature, they measure the patient’s respiration.

The specialty of pain medicine, or algiatry, is a discipline within the field of medicine that is concerned with the prevention of pain, and the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of persons in pain. Pain management specialists are doctors who specialise in the management of patients suffering from acute and chronic pain.

Outside of work, Dr. Hardie enjoys spending time with family, hiking, doing yoga, listening to music, and painting.
