Karolee Kenison-Alexander is a Registered Nurse, Certified MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator, and Director of Clinical and Reimbursement Consulting with Pathway Health. MDS coordinators, also known as nurse assessment coordinators, use these results to formulate and implement individual care plans for residents. She holds expertise in Geriatric Nursing and Consultation.

Karolee graduated with her Nursing degree and as a Registered Nurse from The Department of Nursing at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in 1976, giving her over four decades of experience in her field.

Karolee chose a career in nursing as she feels that applying the nursing process can really be useful in any endeavor as it promotes critical thinking and problem-solving. She wanted to be in a helping profession where she could make a difference in people’s lives. She attributes her professional success to her desire for continuous learning and willingness to act outside her comfort zone, and the support and mentoring she has received throughout her career from other professionals.
