Education: Dr. Khan moved to US right after receiving a Medical Degree from one of the prestigious medical school in Karachi, Pakistan. In US, after passing the entire medical board certification requirements, she successfully completed her postgraduate training from UCLA- Kern Psychiatry Residency Program.
Experience: Dr. Khan had over ten years of professional clinical work experience in community Mental Health System. Currently, she is working as a clinical psychiatrist with Contra Costa Health Services and also serve as a Tele-Psychiatrist with South Coast Community Services (Non profit organization) . As a Psychiatrist, she strives to invest in comprehensive evaluation for all adult psychiatric disorders.
Special Interest: Her special interest include, but not limited to, working with individuals with subsidized resources. Her other major interest include, Women’s Health. Her published work include “Perimenopausal Symptoms and Mood disorder”.
